MakeDomain does not tolerate domain and Internet abusers.
Please be advised that your domain name will be placed on lock, hold or a similar status if you have been found guilty of spamming or engaging in fraudulent activities using your domain name. Upon receipt of a notice regarding a WHOIS data problem report, MakeDomain and Netpia.com Inc. will send a warning notice to the concerned domain name Registrant. Upon the lapse of five (5) days without a response from the Registrant, we will put the domain name on hold, and ask for a breach cure from the Registrant within a period of 30 days. If 30 days passed without a breach cure, the Registrant¡¯s domain name will be cancelled pursuant to any ICANN adopted specification or policy or pursuant to the applicable Registrar and/or the applicable Registry procedure
A report of abuse may be based on a reasonable suspicion of but not limited to the following:
- fraudulent activity;
- intellectual property infringement;
- false declaration as a natural person;
- a specified legal infringement;
- actionable harm accompanied by reasonable evidence; and
- inaccurate WHOIS data accompanied by reasonable evidence.
In the case of Members found guilty of spamming or engaging in fraudulent activities using their Membership, their account shall be terminated without recourse.
In addition, such actions may be subject to the applicable criminal, civil and administrative sanctions.
Please be assured that we take abuse very seriously and we thoroughly investigate every incident that is reported to us. Please note that due to the volume of comments and complaints, we will only respond when we need additional information from you.. Length of response time will vary depending on the volume of feedbacks received.
