How to transfer the ownership of a domain

Required Documents

1. Domain Ownership Transfer Request Form
2. If you are an individual owner, 1 copy of photo ID (e.g. passport or driver's license)
3. If you are an organizational owner, 1 copy of the business license

Here is how it will be processed

1. Current owner logs in to MakeDomain.
2. Current owner selects a domain and fills out the request form.
   (New owner must be a MakeDomain member)
3. When the form submitted, it will be sent to both current and new owner's email.
4. Both current and new owner must print out the request form and sign it, and then send it with required documents to MakeDomain.
5. When MakeDomain receives all the documents needed to process the ownership transfer, it will take about 3 days to complete the transfer. The request will be cancelled if we do not receive the documents within 1 moth.

Things to know about the ownership transfer

1. The request will be cancelled if we do not receive all the required documents within 1 month.
2. New owner must be a member of MakeDomain.
3. Previous owner will not be able to reverse the ownership without new owner's consent.
4. MakeDomain do not and will not take part in any trade, transaction, and/or presentation of a domain name. Thus, the current and new owners will solely take all the legal and moral responsibilities regarding the trade, transaction, and/or presentation of a domain name.
